The 2015 Harvest Patch CSA Information

New This year… you asked and we have delivered we will be changing the model of the CSA… You get to pick out your veggies every week this year… Don’t worry we will still give you your bag and you get to put in what you want.  We will have all of our amazing farm fresh produce picked and placed in bins along tables… There will be a board at pick up that will notify you what is available for you that week and then you can just go along and pick out all the veggies that you like… If there is a veggie that you do not care for or a veggie you want extra of that week… that is all good with us just head over to the swap bin and pick out which ones you would like… Also new and exciting is the bonus bin, in this bin you will find veggies that might be a new crop or something we didn’t quite have enough of that week for everyone to get one in the share, or it might be something you don’t want, or something you love. The Harvest Patch’s word of the year is choice; we are giving you the choice to pick the veggies you want. We also have greatly expanded our veggie selection. We have lots of new seed ordered and ready for planting. We are able to get the season off to a great start by having new items we can get planted early in the greenhouse.

Also new this year CHICKEN Share Add On. Our neighbor and great family friend will be offering options for farm fresh chickens. There will be three chicken pick up dates, and if you choose to add on chicken you will be able to pick up your chickens when you come for your veggies.

Even more new this year… FLOWER share add on. Do you love having farm fresh flowers on your kitchen table along with your farm fresh veggies? Well then this option is perfect for you. If you add flowers on to your share you will get 12 weeks of a beautiful bouquet each week. We will do the picking and arranging and you will get to choose your mason jar arrangement each week, just bring your mason jar back next week and we will have another bouquet ready for your table.

Returning from last year EGG share. You can choose to add on a dozen eggs to your veggies each week as well. All available right along with your veggies.

A New change this year as well.. We will have pick up at the farm and in East Aurora… Our East Aurora pick up location will be just around the corner from last year at the corner of South Willow and Oakwood. This location has better parking, and more room for veggie pick up.

Happy 2013….. A New Year brings a new CSA application.

As the Harvest Patch continues to grow we learn from our past, take the good and continue to improve  to make the best CSA possible for all of our members…

New for this year we have changed our East Aurora Pick up Location…

For the 2013 season we will have pick ups at Aurora Brew Works at 191 Main Street in East Aurora. This location offers street parking right in front of the store, and since My husband and I own the store there is more flexibility with time, So the bags will be at the store by 5 pm on Thursdays, but if you can not get there right at five the store is open until 9 pm.. a 4 hour pick up window:)

We will continue to have a second pick up location at the West Seneca Library Parking Lot, and that pick up will be 5:40pm
